Western Alliance Bancorporation (NYSE:WAL) today announced that Robert
Sarver, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Dale Gibbons, Chief
Financial Officer, have been named to Institutional Investor
magazine's 2018 All-America Executive Team.
The two Western Alliance leaders are honored in the Best CEO and Best
CFO categories, respectively, among Banks/Mid-Cap and Small-Cap – with
Mr. Sarver ranked #3 Best CEO overall and Mr. Gibbons ranked #1 Best CFO
overall. For the 2018 ranking, Institutional Investor collected
the opinions of 3,046 portfolio managers and buy-side analysts, and
1,002 sell-side analysts. More than 130 companies were nominated in this
